PepsiCo Latin America, stated that “At PepsiCo we seek to Win with Purpose and create a positive impact for the planet and people. A fundamental piece of our strategy is to promote a circular and inclusive economy for plastics. “We have been working on programs that advance inclusive recycling for more than a decade, and Latitud R is a fundamental piece of this work, which will undoubtedly allow us to generate greater growth in Latin America.” For his part, Henrique Braun, President of Coca-Cola for Latin America, assured that: “At Coca-Cola, we know that we cannot do it alone, we partner with non-profit organizations, communities, governments and even our competitors to achieve “A World Without Waste” for everyone.
Javier Constante, President of Dow for Latin America, adds: “We are within a new circular ecosystem and, like any new experience, it has many challenges. From our vision, we seek to connect each of the players in this value chain, now circular, so that the functionality and quality of the product and its packaging is what the final consumer expects, and that, through innovation and technology, these Anhui Mobile Number List objectives can be achieved. Also within this process, regulations and public policies that promote the development of waste management infrastructure in its handling and collection stages are necessary, seeking to stimulate the separation of waste at the source so that the work of recyclers can then be more efficient and impactful, which will generate higher recycling and recovery rates for these chains.
The dialogue continued with the participation of Fausto Costa, Executive President of Nestlé Mexico, who noted that “For Nestlé Mexico, innovation and technology play a fundamental role in our goal to achieve a waste-free future. We have the ambition to ensure that 100% of our packaging is recyclable or reusable by 2025 and reduce the use of virgin plastics by a third in the same period of time. In that sense, we have invested in projects such as the Nestlé Institute of Packaging Sciences to develop functional and environmentally friendly packaging solutions. In addition, we voluntarily became the first company in the country to neutralize all the plastic equivalent to our post-consumer waste, as part of the path to reduce our plastic footprint in the environment.
